The University of Louisville softball team has announced that they will be hosting the highly-anticipated 2024 Grand Slam Social on January 28th at 12 p.m. The event will take place at the Hickman Camp Room in the KFC Yum! Center. The Grand Slam Social is a program fundraiser and a season kickoff event for the Cardinals.

Fans attending the Grand Slam Social will have the opportunity to meet head coach Holly Aprile and the 2024 squad as they gear up for the upcoming season. The admission fee for the event is $30 and includes a full buffet, a special player and coach meet-and-greet, a poster, autographs, and a ticket to the women’s basketball game against Pittsburgh.

The Grand Slam Social will begin two hours prior to the Cardinals’ highly-anticipated ACC matchup against Pittsburgh, which is scheduled to tip-off at 2 p.m. This will give fans plenty of time to enjoy the event and then head over to support the women’s basketball team.
