Zeke Nnaji is coming off a year where he appeared in 53 regular season games for the  Denver Nuggets.

The 22-year-old averaged 5.2 points and 2.6 rebounds per contest while shooting 56.1% from the field.

On Sunday, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Nnaji has agreed to a contract extension with Denver.

Via Wojnarowski: "Denver Nuggets forward/center Zeke Nnaji has agreed on a four-year, $32 million contract extension, Adam Pensack of  @PensackSports tells ESPN. The deal includes a player option."

Nnaji was initially the 22nd pick in the 2020 NBA Draft out of Arizona.

He has spent his first three seasons with the Nuggets and has career averages of 5.0 points and 2.6 rebounds per contest while shooting 52.7% from the field and 38.2% from the three-point range in 136 regular season games (he has also appeared in 12 NBA playoff games).

The Nuggets are coming off a sensational season where they were the first seed in the Western Conference with a 53-29 record.

They beat the Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers in the first three rounds of the NBA playoffs to make the Finals.

In the Finals, the Nuggets defeated Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat in five games to win the 2023 NBA Championship.

Nnaji appeared in six NBA playoff games and averaged 1.0 points per contest.

The Nuggets will play their first game of the 2023-24 regular season on October 24 when they host LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers at Ball Arena in Colorado.
