The Pittsburgh Steelers just watched the AFC North get a lot more difficult as the Baltimore Ravens signed running back Derrick Henry, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The deal is worth $16 million over two years with $9 million guaranteed. The 30-year-old now becomes another obstacle for the Steelers as he approaches 10,000 all-time rushing yards and comes off a 1,167-yard season with 12 touchdowns.

The Steelers weren't in the running for Henry, but were certainly hoping he would've landed elsewhere. With names like the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles in the running, Pittsburgh would've preferred not to face the two-time All-Pro and two-time rushing leader.

The AFC North is now looking at Najee Harris, Jaylen Warren, Nick Chubb, Lamar Jackson, Zack Moss and now Henry. Both Moss and Henry just joined the division with Moss signing with the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Ravens will also look for J.K. Dobbins to come back this season after a few injuries the last two seasons.

The Steelers are searching for an answer to their run defense by adding an inside linebacker and are most likely looking to boost their defensive line through free agency and the NFL Draft. With Henry's addition, they'll likely make it even more of a priority this offseason.

Maybe a sign of light for Pittsburgh; Henry has never rushed for over 100 yards against the Steelers. To this day, he has two 75-yard performances and a 32-yard performance, and with two touchdowns coming in those three matchups.
