It has been almost ten full years since Drake's infamous appearance at the Kentucky Wildcats' 2014 Midnight Madness. Over the past decade, the chart-topping rapper's musical catalog and sneaker portfolio have taken on legendary status (and his jump shot has improved, too).

With March Madness sweeping the nation, Drake returned to Lexington recently to show love to his favorite college basketball team. While on campus, he took a quick picture in the basketball team's film room that revealed his unreleased Nike sneakers.

In Drake's Instagram post, he can be seen sitting in the empty room while wearing Kentucky's warmups and the upcoming NOCTA x Nike Hot Step II. The social media post from Complex Sneakers gives fans their best look yet at the sneakers.

There is no official release date for the NOCTA x Nike Hot Step II at this time. However, the sporty lifestyle sneakers are expected to launch in both a white (pictured above) and orange colorway this summer for $200 in adult sizes.

Since launching NOCTA in 2022, Drake's Nike sublabel has released multiple models. But this is the first line to enjoy its second installment. Online shoppers can check out Drake's NOCTA selection on the Nike website.

While most basketball teams in the NCAA have to battle for attention, Drake delivers it to the doorstep of the Wildcats. The loyal superfan has hooked up student-athletes with free sneakers and uses his platform to elevate the program.

Kentucky's men's basketball team is poised to secure a good seed in the upcoming NCAA tournament, which means we should see a lot more of Drake in the next few weeks. Stay locked into FanNationKicks.com for all your footwear news from the sports world.
