An Ed Sheeran look-alike was beaten by a rapper look-alike in the form of Stormzy in an MMA bout.

The fight took place between Ty Jones, the Sheeran look-alike, and Papa Sow, the Stormzy look-alike. The event was part of the World Freak Fight League. This was headlined by former World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall and social media influencers Jamil and Jamel Neffati (Neffati Brothers). The fight was scheduled for three rounds.

The size difference was noticeable, with Sow being 40 pounds heavier and eight inches taller. Sow started the fight on the front foot, sending Jones to the canvas via a front kick to the body. Sow followed that up by keeping Jones on the ground via his back. He then let fly with numerous strikes, and Jones’ face was covered in blood and bruises. Jones eventually tapped out, as the fight was over in 25 seconds.

Jones Taps

“Mate, there’s nothing but love, I love this guy and there’s so much respect between me and him. I’m so sorry about what happened, it’s business, but hey, he’s a good lad, I love him,” Sow

“He’s a beast, the guy’s a beast, he’s a Stormzy lookalike for God’s sake! You know what? I respect him too, it’s business and we can also be professionals. We have been tonight and I love that, there’s nothing personal,” Jones

In the main event, Hall knocked out the Neffati Brothers. The brothers were fighting on the outside in the first two rounds as they sought to stay out of firing range. However, they switched things up in the final round. They closed the distance only for Hall to make them pay.

Hall’s KO

Hall suplexed one brother to the floor. While the brother got back up, he was hit by a big right hand, and he was knocked out.  The referee then stopped the fight, giving Hall the win. The win was a perfect response to Hall’s last fight, which came in a boxing ring. He had lost to another World’s Strongest Man, Hafthor Bjornsson, via a unanimous decision. While he does want to run things back, Hall was open to the idea of doing MMA. Hall then called out former another World’s Strongest man, Mariusz Pudzianowski.

“I lost [against Hafthor Bjornsson], but I can take things like a man. It is what it is, that’s boxing. At the end of the day I’ve just fought literally the biggest man in the world in a boxing match, I’d like to see anybody else have the balls to do that. It’s been a hell of a journey, I’ve really enjoyed it. Hopefully there’s a rematch and we can do business again. Take care everyone, big love, the Beast,” Hall stated

“I think someone like Mariusz Pudzianowski, he’s got 20 years experience in the game. He’s still a big guy, still very strong and he is a hard…[man]’, there’s no denying that Mariusz is very hard. I think the fans want to see a ‘World’s Strongest Man’ vs ‘World’s Strongest Man’, so there we go. If someone can bring the right deal to the table I know Mariusz is game. He’s always in my inbox sending me fighting emojis, so maybe this is it,” Hall revealed
