Ambati Rayudu has had the opportunity to play for Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in his IPL career. The batter won the IPL six times in his career, thrice with MI and thrice with CSK. When it comes to his experiences at both teams, he claims he would be at CSK.

Currently working in the broadcasting team of Star Sports, Ambati Rayudu claimed the environment at CSK was much better. He added if any player spent too much time at MI, their heads would explode.

I feel CSK has a much better environment. MI mey jydada khelne se brain fatt jayega (Your brain will explode if you will spend more time at MI). Both CSK and MI have two different cultures but at the end of the day, both work hard. Ambati Rayudu on Star Sports

Rayudu explained the differences between the two teams. He explained that CSK cared more about the process, not letting results affect the mood in the camp. Rayudu added that MI were more result oriented, where winning was non-negotiable.

Rayudu also feels that MI made him a better batter, claiming his game was much better. He said the team did not take any excuses for poor performances as well. CSK, on the other hand, was much more relaxed when it came to development.

Ambati Rayudu believes MS Dhoni should start batting early

MS Dhoni has been on fire in this IPL. The former Indian captain has scored 91 runs in eight matches, with the strike rate of 260. With him being in such great form, former CSK teammate Ambati Rayudu believes Dhoni should come in to bat early.

Rayudu believed with the form Dhoni is in, it makes sense for him to come in early to bat. Talking to Star Sports, he claimed Dhoni needed to come in to bat after the 14th over, which could easily add 20 runs to CSK’s total.

Dhoni has batted only six innings so far, but has left a huge impact. Usually coming to bat in the death overs, the former Indian captain has hit eight sixes and eight boundaries. He hasn’t gotten out even once, and his highest score so far is 37* off 16 against Delhi Capitals
