Ryan is wrapping up his first season as a broadcaster for the network.

FEB 1 COMMANDERS HIRE DAN QUINN The final head coaching hire in the NFL is a former member of the Atlanta Falcons.

According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the Commanders are hiring former Falcons coach Dan Quinn.

Quinn served as the Falcons coach from 2015-20, leading the team to the Super Bowl in 2016. He spent the past three seasons as defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys.

Quinn will have the opportunity to lead his new Commanders team against the Falcons at some point in 2024.

JAN 31 FALCONS HIRE D-LINE COACH The Atlanta Falcons continue to round out their staff.

According to WSB Channel 2's Zach Klein, the Falcons are hiring Jay Rodgers to be their defensive line coach.

Rodgers, 47, has been in the NFL since 2009 with the Denver Broncos (2009-14), Chicago Bears (2015-20) and Los Angeles Chargers (2021-23).

JAN 29 FALCONS TAB JIMMY LAKE AS DC The Atlanta Falcons now have their defensive coordinator.

According to CBS Sports radio host Carl Dukes, Falcons coach Raheem Morris is bringing Rams associate head coach Jimmy Lake with him to Atlanta to be the team's defensive coordinator.

Lake, 47, was the head coach of the Washington Huskies from 2020-21 and joined the Rams this season. He specializes in defensive backs and was last a DC with the Huskies from 2018-19.

Now, Morris has his coordinators: Zac Robinson for the offense, Marquice Williams for special teams and Lake for the defense.

JAN 27 MARQUICE WILLIAMS STAYS The Atlanta Falcons are keeping one of the biggest parts of their coaching staff amidst hiring Raheem Morris, according to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero.

Morris now has his special teams coordinator, which now allows him to search for who will lead his offense.

JAN 25 RAHEEM MORRIS 'KILLS' FALCONS INTERVIEW A former Atlanta Falcons coach may be making his way back to Flowery Branch.

Raheem Morris, the defensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams, has interviewed with the Falcons and remains a top candidate for the job. Morris served as an assistant in Atlanta under Dan Quinn from 2015-20, and was interim head coach when his boss was fired.

CBS Sports' Jonathan Jones reports that Morris "killed the interview" with the Falcons.

The Falcons have interviewed over a dozen candidates for the job and there are still many in the running, but Morris should be considered among that group.

JAN 24 FALCONS INTERVIEW EVERO AGAIN The Atlanta Falcons are moving forward in their coaching search, announcing that they have interviewed Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero for the second time.

Evero is one of several candidates still part of this extensive search, and he remains one of the top people the Falcons will consider.

Atlanta's search will likely go into next week and beyond as they still interview coaching candidates still participating in the season.

JAN 22 FALCONS SCHEDULE MORE INTERVIEWS The Atlanta Falcons' search for their next coach is ongoing after firing Arthur Smith following their third-straight losing season.

Per a report from NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, the Falcons have requested to interview Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald and defensive line coach Anthony Weaver for the second time.

Additionally, per WSB's Zach Klein, the Falcons are also set to host an in-person interview with former Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel.

JAN 21 FALCONS INTERVIEW JOHNSON Despite many already predicting the Atlanta Falcons to hire Bill Belichick, they are continuing the interviewing process.

As announced by the Falcons' official Twitter account, they completed their latest interview with Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson.

With the Lions win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday to advance to the NFC Championship game, the Falcons had to conduct a virtual interview with Johnson as his current team is still in the postseason.

JAN 19 BELICHICK TO FALCONS HEATING UP The Atlanta Falcons are making moves towards finalizing their head coaching job.

According to 11 Alive News reporter Maria Martin, Belichick's potential staff members are inquiring about Falcons personnel as things "heat up" in the negotiation process.

This news comes after a report from The Athletic that Belichick and Falcons owner Arthur Blank ate dinner together Thursday before the legendary coach has his second official "interview" with the franchise.

JAN 18 FALCONS INTERVIEW BRIAN JOHNSON The Atlanta Falcons are continuing to add to their coaching interview list.

The team announced that Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Brian Johnson has interviewed for the position.

Johnson's Eagles were eliminated by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Monday night's Super Wild Card loss.

JAN 15 WILLIAMS REQUESTED TO INTERVIEW Atlanta Falcons special teams coordinator Marquice Williams continues to generate interest from teams around the league.

According to NFL Network, the New England Patriots have requested to interview Williams for their vacant special teams coordinator position under new head coach Jerod Mayo.

Williams was previously requested for the same interview by the New York Giants, but Atlanta denied the request, as it's capable of blocking any interviews leading to a lateral move.

The Falcons have blocked several other interview requests, including those involving defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen and offensive line coach Dwayne Ledford.
