He used his Alma mater’s 2023 Pro Day to better his chances of getting back into the National Football League, and it worked.

D.J. Fluker, a former All-American offensive tackle, received great news on Monday. He has signed with the Las Vegas Raiders after working out with the team. Jordan Schultz, an NFL insider for Bleacher Report, reported the news. He spoke with Deryk Gilmore, Fluker’s agent, and obtained the information. Fluker, an Alabama native, returns to the NFL after missing last season.

He played at the University of Alabama under Nick Saban from 2009 to 2012, anchoring the best offensive line in college football during the 2012 season. Fluker assisted running backs Eddie Lacy and T.J. Yeldon to be 1,000+ yard rushers.

He was a three-time BCS National Champion (2009, 2011, and 2012) and two-time Southeastern Conference Champion (2009 and 2012). Fluker earned first-team All-SEC and first-team All-American honors in 2012 before pursuing the 2013 NFL Draft.

He was a first-round selection of the San Diego Chargers and spent nine seasons (2013-21) in the league between the Chargers, New York Giants, Seattle Seahawks, Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins, Las Vegas Raiders, and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Fluker is in the best shape of his life after dropping 50 pounds. Hopefully, his second stint with the Raiders goes well.
