Five-star recruit Jalen Haralson, ranked 10th in the 2025 class on 247Sports composite, could be making his college decision by the time the Gonzaga Bulldogs have played their first-round game in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

On Monday, Haralson posted "3/22/24" on X (formerly known as Twitter). High school recruits posting dates has been a common cryptic way of publicly announcing when their decision day is coming, as former Gonzaga recruit and Washington commit Zoom Diallo did the same in December.

Haralson is a near-consensus top-10 recruit in the 2025 class according to major recruiting databases. He's the 10th-best player in his class according to 247Sports Composite and On3.com, while Rivals.com has the La Lumiere (Indiana) star at No. 8 in its rankings. ESPN 100 has Haralson ranked 12th in the 2025 class.

Along with Gonzaga, which offered Haralson a scholarship in June, other schools in the recruiting mix include Duke, Auburn, Indiana, Purdue, Michigan State, Arkansas and Kansas among others. Haralson has visited Auburn, Indiana, Purdue, Notre Dame and Michigan State according to Tipton.

The chance of Haralson staying in his home state to play college basketball appears likely. Rivals.com gives the Boilermakers a 54% chance of landing the La Lumiere School (IN) product, while On3.com has the Hoosiers as the current frontrunners at a 32.1% chance.
