Harris English, Brian Harman, and Chris Kirk are among a strong contingent of former Georgia Bulldogs playing well at the PLAYERS Championship this weekend.

Georgia Bulldogs are quite comfortable in Jacksonville. Just ask head football coach Kirby Smart, who is 6-2 in Jacksonville since taking over in 2016. But it's a different group of Bulldogs showing off down in Florida, just about 25 miles away from TIAA Bank Field, at the beautiful Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass.

Former Bulldogs Harris English, Brian Harman, and Chris Kirk are all in the top 13 at the PLAYERS Championship early on Saturday afternoon. English, currently 2-under for the day, put together back-to-back rounds of 69 to find himself tied for sixth and within six shots of leader Wyndham Clark who currently sits at 14-under.

Harman and Kirk are tied for 14th at 7-under. After a tough start on Thursday, Harman posted at 65 on Friday to climb the leaderboard.

Sepp Straka is just a stroke behind at 6-under and is currently tied for 25th. Keith Mitchell is -2 on the day and has moved to +2 on the tournament, good for T-59.
