Heroic signed former OG AWPer Abdul "degster" Gasanov to their Counter-Strike 2 team on Sunday.

degster has been idle since he was benched by OG last June. The 22-year-old Russian will compete with his new team this week against MIBR at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade.

"degster is a player who has an insanely high skill ceiling and that makes it really interesting to bring him in," coach Eetu "sAw" Saha said.

"He has a versatile playstyle, will bring a lot of initiative to the team with his ideas, as well as just raw fragging power. On top of that he is really passionate about the game and I'm assuming that will show with his high level of energy inside and outside of the server."

Heroic's lineup consists of Israel's Guy "NertZ" Ilus, Denmark's Rene "TeSeS" Madsen and Rasmus "sjuush" Beck, North Macedonia's Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski and degster. Denmark's Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi is benched.
