Step aside, heartwarming content coming through!

Prior to Game 5 of the ALCS on Friday night between the Houston Astros and Texas Rangers, Astros' utility player Mauricio Dubon went viral on social media for his encounter with Hall of Famer and former Yankees legend Derek Jeter.

While interviewing Dubon, Jeter notes that he's only the second player ever from the country of Honduras - and he wants to know how Dubon fell in love with the game.

Dubon responds that it's largely because of Jeter, who he watched play while growing up and had posters on his wall. He also says he wore No. 2 his entire amateur career because of Jeter.

This isn't the first time that something like this has happened this year. Earlier this summer, Brewers infielder Willy Adames went viral for his reaction to meeting Jeter at Yankee Stadium. You can see that here.

One of the most successful and recognizable players of the last 30 years, Jeter is undoubtedly the idol of many current ballplayers. He spent 20 years in the big leagues, all with the Yankees. He was a part of five World Series winners (1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2009), was a 14-time All-Star, a five-time Gold Glove winner, a Rookie of the Year, and a World Series MVP.

He amassed 3,465 career hits and had a lifetime .310 batting average with 260 home runs.

As for Dubon, the 29-year-old is hitting .364 this postseason. He's in his fifth major league season with the Brewers, Giants and Astros.

He was just named a finalist for a Gold Glove Award this week.
