Italian media argue the anti-Inter circus resumes after the Nerazzurri 4-3 away against Fiorentina on Saturday.

Italian media outline that the tension on the pitch and on social media following Inter’s 4-3 win at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Saturday.

“Fiorentina-Inter is never a straightforward game. There is a tense relationship between the two clubs and there was controversy after the final whistle,” wrote FCInter1908.

“It started with the missed red card on Dimarco for a dangerous challenge, followed by a social media circus caused by Dzeko presumed foul on Milenkovic during the play before the game-winning goal.

“Prior to that, there was a foul by Jovic on De Vrij on the goal for 3-3,” continued the article.

“Two similar situation and evaluate in the same way: the game continued. The problem is the the circus on social media.

“The other problem is what was not said: the foul by Jovic was more of a foul then the presumed fould by Dzeko,” concluded FCInter1908.

Both teams were struggling to find form early this season, but Inter have been able to recover by going on a 5 game unbeaten streak in all competitions following 3 losses in their previous 5 games in Serie A.

Inter lost to AC Milan, Udinese and AS Roma prior to beating Barcelona, Sassuolo, Salernitana and Fiorentina.

However, Fiorentina continue to struggle, as they have not found a win in their last 4 Serie A match, since their victory against Hellas Verona on September.

This Viola is due to the fact that there only 2 wins in the month of October come in the UEFA Europa Conference League and that they sit in 14th place in Serie A with 10 points.
