Jason Kelce Eagles Center has announced he is retiring from the NFL. After 13 years and a future hall-of-fame career. He will end his career as one of the greatest centers of all time and a Super Bowl champion.
Cincinnati
Jason Kelce played three seasons for the Bearcats and all of the defensive side of the ball. He would make the switch to offensive line and that’s where his career started to make history. During those three years, he played in 37 games where he had one tackle. Kelce also played alongside his brother Travis while in Cincinnati and helped save his brother’s career.
Philadelphia Eagles
Jason Kelce played 13 years in the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles. From 2011-2023 he suited up for the Eagles in 193 games. Drafted in the sixth round of the 2011 draft by Andy Reid he came in as an underdog and left as an all-star in 2023 with Nick Sirianni as head coach.
During those 193 games, he started all of those games and had 115 wins with one Super Bowl win. He also had seven postseason runs with just two ending in the Super Bowl. In 2017 Kelce reached the mountain top and won the Super Bowl with an underdog team. In 2022 he went back to the Super Bowl with the Eagles and lost but this time he reached the mountain top with his brother Travis Kelce. This was one of five times over his career.
