Musical artist Kanye West wants to do a concert at the San Diego Padres' Petco Park.

West posted a screenshot of a text exchange on his Instagram story earlier this month between himself and rapper Freddie Gibbs, where West said he wanted to play at Petco during his upcoming tour.

"Somebody asked me do you want to do Petco Stadium in San Diego. They wanna set it up," Gibbs wrote."

"Yes I do. Who do I speak to?," West replied.

West has had four concerts in San Diego in the past, but the last one was in 2008. None of them were at Petco Park — one was at San Diego Sports Arena, one was at Cox Arena, one was at a nightclub and one was at a festival.

Petco Park hosts tons of concerts every year. In 2024, they'll be welcoming Bill Joel & Sting, the Foo Fighters and Green Day, among others.

If West ends up doing a concert at Petco Park, it will likely be in 2025. West recently released a new album titled, "Vultures 1."
