We have started to see some whispers of various Chelsea players being linked with a move to Lazio, after the club confirmed former Blues boss Maurizio Sarri as their head coach.

Naturally the links will come, but there is one that has a feel of becoming more than just a whisper for many reasons.

I’ve now read a few decent reports linking Lazio to Chelsea goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga, who was Sarri’s number one at Chelsea.

The latest comes from reliable Italian outlet, La Repubblica.

The report, cited by The Laziali, claims that Lazio are pursuing a loan deal for the Spanish goalkeeper, and they are prepared to pay 50% of his wages.

We have always thought to expect more links with Sarri at Lazio now with certain Chelsea players, and this one makes total sense. Kepa needs to play, he wont get that at Chelsea behind Edouard Mendy. We know Sarri likes him, and he likes Sarri, so this is worth keeping a close eye on.
