LeBron James is the ultimate playoff performer, there are very few times in the King's career that he has not made it to the postseason. After an abysmal performance from the Lakers though, the franchise is nowhere close to the playoffs this time around, which means that LBJ has effectively been on vacation since the regular season ended, sharing pictures of himself and commenting occasionally on what's happening in the NBA

And even though he might get some criticism within NBA circles, especially after this season, James remains one of the most celebrated athletes in the world and an immensely successful one. This sees him regularly rub shoulders with the world's elite, especially if they are or have been premier athletes.

Another huge celebrity who was also an athlete is David Beckham, who is a household name across the world, much like James. It seems the two met up at some sort of event recently, with LeBron taking to Instagram to share a picture with Beckham.

"Always great seeing my guy!!! ALWAYS @davidbeckham love brother!"

Not only did David Beckham play for some of the biggest soccer clubs in the world like Manchester United and Real Madrid, but he was also one of the biggest stars to play in the United States when he moved to the LA Galaxy of the MLS in Los Angeles in 2007.

LeBron James is now one of the faces of sports in Los Angeles, being the main star of the Lakers, so it's not surprising to see him and Beckham being pictured together. The basketball star will be hoping that he can also bring 2 titles to LA as Beckham did, after all, the footballer did help the Galaxy win back-to-back MLS Cups during his time with them.
