Conor McGregor has lashed out at Ryan Garcia over his failed VADA tests.

Garcia’s failed two tests for Ostarine, one before the day of the fight, while the other was on the fight date. Dan Rafael also confirmed Garcia ‘screened positive but was not confirmed for 19-Norandrosterone pending IRMS analysis currently being run.’ It has now raised questions over Garcia’s win. He missed weight by 3.2 pounds, giving him the power advantage.

Ostarine is known for increasing stamina, helping to lose fat and build muscle mass. Garcia has denied the claims of cheating, saying it is fake news. Once the news broke, it was confirmed he had ten days to test the B-sample. If Garcia is declared guilty, he could be banned and fined. The fight result could also de declared a no-contest.

Garcia’s Response

McGregor On Garcia

Garcia faces a battle to save his reputation, which won’t be helped unless he is more transparent with the boxing authorities and the public. So far, Garcia has made a series of comments downplaying the tests. He alleged P Diddy ‘paid’ for the test, mocking Haney’s previous meeting with the rapper. Garcia has also stated that he is being ‘attacked’ by the Matrix, referencing Andrew Tate. Outside the ring, Garcia has started his world music tour. He released his song ‘Blessed,’ and has even been pictured with Donald Trump. McGregor has not been left happy with Garcia, referencing Sean O’Malley’s previous failed test for Ostarine too.

“Cheated the weight and was juiced, lifetime ban. Sad to see, sad to say. Sad and a bit sick. Don’t come near me if I see you ever Ryan Garcia. I am actually disgusted. This Ostarine it reminds me of Sean o malley was on that as well. I don’t like this, I’ll bust yous both up, do yous want a spar I will set flights right now for you both for a full on spar each.

“Hotel, black forge inn the lot. #letssparomalley and #garcia two little ostarine heads I’ll ride you both like yous are ostriches…What do you think you are at ? If I was Haney’s dad you’re dead no matter what for doing that. Crazy…You little fool. Get your head together cos I gonna smash it in with elbows if you don’t. Fair play Devin well done. Your performance has just become even more heroic! Bravo,” McGregor stated

Mora On Garcia

Much in the same way, Sergio Mora has not been happy with Garcia.

“It’s a terrible look for this kid because he’s just gotten on top of the world. He literally is going on a world tour. He’s next to President Trump and everyone else, and now these allegations and this news. It’s a terrible look for boxing.

“We’re shooting ourselves in the foot every time we have a successful event. Let’s gather all the evidence and see how it goes. It’s just not a good look for us. The [New York] Commission doesn’t do anything unless they’re pressured. Unless they have the magnitude of a fight and the fact that you have a superstar and money backing them. Devin Haney has that,” Mora said

Hearn On Haney

Team Haney has been left devastated by the news. Devin reacted by calling Garcia a ‘cheater,’ demanding him to apologize to his fanbase. Haney’s father, Bill Haney was outraged, saying Garcia had tried to ‘hurt’ his son. He questioned Garcia’s skills, stating he knows Garcia cannot beat his son on a level playing field. Eddie Hearn gave further clarity on the situation, having worked with team Haney. The damage Haney sustained will impact the rest of his career, with question marks over whether he will be the same fighter. Even if his undefeated record is kept, the Haney’s have been left reeling by the news.

“I woke up to missed calls from Devin and a text saying ‘Call me ASAP,’ and spoke to him and he’s devastated because he’s obviously it’s a bit very difficult for him to overcome the loss, but particularly difficult now to take the loss when he was 3 1⁄2 pounds over and a loss that he fought a man who had performance enhancing drugs in his system.

“I believe everybody should have the right to protest their innocence. Unfortunately in this situation it’s guilty until proven innocent — I’ve been there, right. But one thing we 100% know in this situation is that when he entered the ring he had performance enhancing drugs in his system,” Hearn stated
