Former Inter goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio would like a return to the Nerazzurri some day very much.

This according to Di Gregorio’s agent Alberto Belloni, who spoke to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.it, via FCInterNews, and also explained that the Monza keeper is a longtime fan of  his opponents on Saturday in Serie A, AC Milan.

Di Gregorio has established a starting place for himself in goal, having helped the Lombard to an historic first ever promotion to Serie A last season.

The Brianzoli decided to sign Di Gregorio on a permanent basis over the summer after he had impressed on loan for them over two seasons, and now he has really planted his flag for the newly-promoted club.

However, according to Di Gregorio’s agent, he would still consider a return to Inter, whose youth system the 25-year-old came through, something of a dream.

Of Saturday’s match against AC Milan, Belloni said that “Saturday will be an exciting match for him, he’s a Milan fan.”

He added of Di Gregorio that “He dreams of a return to Inter, that’s where he developed.”

“He played in goal for them aged nineteen, and that’s still where his home is.”
