New Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is off to an impressive start in the Euro 2020 tournament.

Wijnaldum helped the Netherlands national team finish with its third win of the Euro 2020 group stage round as the side recorded a key 3-0 victory over North Macedonia.

Wijnaldum starred in the match as he scored two goals, won five ground duels, completed three tackle attempts and recorded one interception.

The former Premier League winner wound up notching Euro 2020 Star of the Match honors for this performance.

Wijnaldum is now currently tied with Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo and the Czech Republic’s Patrik Schick for the most goals scored so far in the Euro 2020 tournament with three.

For the Netherlands national team, the side finished with eight goals scored and a mere two goals allowed over three group stage fixtures.

Wijnaldum and his Netherlands side now look ahead to possibly pulling off a deep run in the upcoming Euro 2020 knockout stage.
