Lazio have officially announced that cryptocurrency exchange Binance will be the shirt’s new main sponsor.

As announced in an official statement earlier today, the Biancocelesti have agreed a two-year deal with an option for a third with the cryptocurrency exchange, with the agreement being worth more than €30 million.

The Binance branding will become the main sponsor on Lazio’s shirt, which have been without a sponsor for multiple seasons now.

The partnership with Binance will allow us to extend our digital presence and connect with fans and followers around the world as never before.

The new sponsor will be present on the Lazio shirt for the next game against Inter on Saturday.

Binance is the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange in terms of daily trading volume and boasts over 30 million users worldwide. 

Lazio are the latest club to partner with a cryptocurrency platform, with the technology exploding in recent years.

Binance have also launched the LAZIO fan token, providing fans another way to engage with the squad, something that has also been seen at Inter and Roma.
