Ohio has an elite defense, coming in allowing the fourth-fewest total yards per game in the nation. It didn’t show last week, but prior to that, opponents had only cracked the 20-point mark once all season. The Bobcats are especially great versus the run, and Buffalo’s run game and just their offense in general, have been subpar.
The Bulls don’t have an awful defensive unit, but their opponent’s rushing stats are concerning. Thankfully, Ohio hasn’t dominated on the ground, so it might not hurt Buffalo.
