The fallout from Jeff Lebby’s departure has begun to settle.

Oklahoma lost a member of the 2024 recruiting class on Monday — a day after the Sooners’ offensive coordinator took the head coaching job at Mississippi State.

Dozie Ezukanma, a 3-star wide receiver from Fort Worth, has reportedly decommitted from OU, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Ezukanma is the 114th-rated wide receiver in the 2024 class, according to 247 Sports, and ranks as the No. 124 player in the state of Texas.

The 6-2, 180-pound Ezukanma holds offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Houston, Kansas, Kansas State, Miami, Missouri, Oregon, Purdue, TCU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Wisconsin, among others.

OU wide receivers coach Emmett Jones offered him a scholarship on June 8, and he committed to the Sooners on June 20.

OU now has 27 verbal commits in the 2024 class, including wide receivers Zion Kearny, Ivan Carreon, Zion Ragins, K.J. Daniels and tight end Davon Mitchell.
