It's the final week of the college football regular season and in the Beaver State that means one thing: the annual renewal of the Civil War Game between Oregon and Oregon State, and this edition of the rivalry is loaded with plenty of history.

This game marks the final time these teams will meet as members of the Pac-12 Conference, although the schools announced they will continue the game after the Ducks leave for the Big Ten.

And it can help serve as a launching pad for Oregon to move closer to the league title bout. A win over the Beavers clinches a spot for the Ducks in the Pac-12 Championship Game in what would be a rematch against Washington, which handed them their only loss of the season to date.

Just 8 combined points keep the Beavers from being undefeated right now, and they're coming off a 2-point loss at home to Washington last week.

What do the experts think of the matchup? Let's see how the College Football Power Index computer prediction model projects the game.

Oregon State vs. Oregon picks, predictions

College Football Power Index is a computer prediction model devised by analysts that uses data points from both teams to simulate games 20,000 times and pick winners.

Oregon odds: The simulations strongly favor the Ducks to win the game, coming out ahead in 81 percent of the projections, or 16,200 of the predictions.

Oregon State odds: That leaves the Beavers coming out ahead in the remaining 19 percent of sims, or the other 3,800 predictions.

Point spread: Oregon is a 13.5 point favorite against Oregon State, according to the lines at SI Sportsbook, which set the total for 62.5 points in the game.

Moneyline: Ducks -525 | OSU +400

Score prediction? By averaging out each team's projected scoring margin per game, the computer predicts that Oregon will defeat Oregon State by 10.5 points, not enough to cover the line.
