Usually, as the next chapter in their careers, professional wrestlers test their luck in the world of Hollywood. Very rarely do you see Hollywood stars test their luck in the wrestling business. One such star is Paul Walter Hauser. Although he has only had one match so far, Hauser is determined to have a successful career in professional wrestling.

Paul Walter Hauser has gotten a lot of love and respect for professional wrestling. Hauser even spoke about pro wrestling in his speech at the Golden Globe Awards.

Recently he was a special guest on the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast. During the episode, Hauser was asked about whether there are any wrestling angles in real life that he has seen. The Hollywood star replied by mentioning the time when Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards last year was the most wrestling moment he had ever seen.

The most ‘wrestling’ moment

“Let’s call it out. Will Smith slapping Chris Rock is the most wrestling moment I’ve seen in culture since I’ve been alive. And what’s crazy is, people were so attracted to what it was they were affected by it. And they were so attracted to it. There were people who even said they thought it was staged and it wasn’t real,” he explained.

“So it’s like, when you take all that into consideration, it’s like, people would like wrestling if they really engaged and understood what it is,” Hauser added. “Because there are many moments that are just like that, that we all talk about with the same kind of energy and appreciation as everyone else does.”

The Hollywood Star will be stepping in the ring very soon to wrestle Matt Cardona at Wrestling Revolver’s ‘Ready or Not.’

Will Paul Walter Hauser be able to defeat the self-proclaimed Indy God Matt Cardona?
