PSV Eindhoven are closing on a deal for Wolves striker Fabio Silva.

Silva looks set to join PSV on loan for the rest of the season after being recalled from his spell with Anderlecht, says the Daily Express.

The Dutch giants are believed to be pushing ahead with a swoop for the 20-year-old after selling star forwards Cody Gakpo to Liverpool and Noni Madueke to Chelsea, respectively.

Silva hit seven goals in 20 outings in the Belgian Pro League but will now get the chance to make a small step up in the Eredivisie for one of Holland's leading sides.

Wolves paid big money to sign the highly-rated attacking talent from Porto in the summer of 2021 for a fee in the region of 35m.

There has also been interest from further afield this month once it became clear his Anderlecht loan was expected to be cut short.
