A no from me to Ryan Christie return…

It’s been reported that the club are monitoring former Celt Ryan Christie with a view to bringing him back north in the next transfer window.

The forward of course was signed by Ronny Deila back in 2015, but played his best football under Brendan Rodgers who undoubtedly got the best out of the former Inverness man. Ryan of course left for Bournemouth just as Ange Postecoglou arrived at Celtic Park and that’s were he’s remained ever since.

Ryan hasn’t exactly set the heather on fire down south with the EPL side, but for me he’s had his day at the club and I couldn’t see were he would fit into the side.

Ryan will be 29 in February and although he wouldn’t command a high transfer fee due to him being out of contract in the summer, he doesn’t fit our transfer strategy and I fail to see how he would improve our team.

I appreciate everything Ryan done for us and don’t have anything against him personally. I just think we would be better looking elsewhere.
