Kylian Mbappé has yet to decide on his future. However, a recent report revealed that his camp has reached a principle agreement with Real Madrid. Nonetheless, the Frenchman wants to hear Paris Saint-Germain’s arguments before definitively validating everything.

As a result, PSG supporters might have to prepare themselves for life without Mbappé. Tennis player Richard Gasquet spoke about Mbappé and noted that it would be tough to see him leave. However, he adds that the club will remain with or without the 25-year-old.

Mbappé is still the best player in the world,” Gasquet said on RMC Sport (h/t Paris Fans). “It is up to the players alongside him today to reach that level, to be stronger. It would be difficult to lose a player like him, but the club must be stronger than everyone. I think Mbappé has that something, and it’s simply up to the players to match his level.”

PSG will fiercely resist the forward’s departure. According to a report, the Ligue 1 side is prepared to offer the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner €400 million for a four-year contract. Mbappé is likely observing the trajectory of their project under the guidance of sporting advisor Luis Campos.

The team is prioritizing young players and top French talent, positioning the Frenchman at the core of the project. Can this proposal and direction motivate Mbappé to extend his contract with the capital club?
