Serena Wiliams recently served up the beauty world by launching her makeup brand, Wyn Beauty. Through this, the American will be sharing her skincare routines and joining a vast list of celebrity makeup entrepreneurs.

Growing up in front of the camera, Williams faced criticism for wearing even the slightest of makeup. This experience inspired her to launch her beauty brand, aiming to empower fellow athletes to exude champion-like beauty both on and off the court.

However, one might wonder who was Serena Williams’ inspiration. It turned out to be the biggest supermodel, Naomi Campbell. The English model set a high standard by joining the ranks of six models from her generation who achieved supermodel status.

The G.O.A.T. of the tennis world respects the best of the fashion world as they share a couple of moments. Inspired by Campbell, Williams’ has now started her brand, which is a key to post-match rest and recovery.

Back then, it was all about the top models. It was a sensation, these amazing models, so I was always looking into their beauty at that time. Naomi Campbell was someone that was really inspiring—she was always so beautiful. Said Serena Williams in an interview with Vanity Fair

Serena Williams reckons to have brought her championship mentality into the real world with her new makeup

Williams has achieved numerous titles and achievements on the tennis court. And currently, she is trying to translate it into the business world by welcoming her new makeup brand.

Wyn Beauty, Williams’ new beauty lineup is said to take the world by storm. Even the 42-year-old reckons that she evolved from tennis to build the brand.

Furthermore, Williams also said that she had translated her tennis into a product to help many. Bringing in the championship mentality, the American spoke about her new product.

From an athlete who used to wear just any shade of lipstick to the court, Williams found the key to longevity in Wyn Beauty as she helped design one of the most active beauty products that is set to last longer than usual.

I was kind of evolving. So it’s like my tennis ball kind of evolved into this beauty [line], just bringing that championship mentality [into] everyday life. Active beauty for everyday people to be able to use every single day and still feel amazing Said Serena Williams via Vanity Fair

With this, the tennis star joined a wide range of celebrities with brands, including Selena Gomez – rare beauty, and Kylie Jenner’s Kylie cosmetics. Just like the others, Williams has her website to sell and market the products.
