For the first time in history, Columbus High School (Fla.) has won three straight Class 7A state championships. It's no coincidence they coincide with the first three seasons the school has enjoyed the services of Cayden and Cameron Boozer, twin sons of 2001 Duke basketball national champion and two-time NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer.

But the third crown didn't come easy.

After blowing a 16-point lead in Saturday night's championship bout at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Columbus (27-4) trailed Oak Ridge, 57-55, in the closing seconds. Cameron Boozer, No. 2 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite, responded with a driving dunk to force overtime, and his squad ultimately prevailed, 72-67.

The 6-foot-9, 235-pound five-star forward finished with a team-high 24 points, along with 11 rebounds, five assists, three blocks, and a steal; plus, he drew 10 fouls in the contest. As for Cayden Boozer, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound five-star guard who boasts a No. 15 composite ranking, he added 16 points, nine boards, and five dimes.

Both Boozer twins have held a Duke basketball offer since May 2022. Along with Cooper Flagg, who later reclassified to 2024 and committed to the Blue Devils this past fall, they were the first in their class to land on Jon Scheyer's wishlist.

They've taken official visits to Duke, Kentucky, Florida, and Miami. However, neither has named finalists nor provided a definitive timeline in their recruitment.

Scheyer and his crew have the top-ranked class in the 2024 cycle but are still in search of their first 2025 commit.
