Spencer released its first trailer and first look at Kristen Stewart as Diana, Princess of Wales.

Get ready for another in-depth look at the royal family. The first trailer for Spencer was released Thursday, and fans of Lady Di got their first look at Kristen Stewart in the titular role. Check out the trailer below:

The first impression of the trailer is definitely positive. Stewart makes for a convincing ringer for Princess Diana. There is sure to be prim and proper drama between her, Charles, and the Royal Family. The premise of the movie surrounds the 1991 Christmas holiday getaway of the Royal Family. Diana wrestles with whether or not to end her marriage to Charles, Prince of Wales.

Apart from Stewart, the cast is rounded out with UK stars. Jack Farthing takes on the role of Charles. Timothy Spall, Sean Harris, Sally Hawkins, and Amy Manson also have roles. The movie is directed by Pablo Larraín, who successfully tackled another famous first lady in 2016’s Jackie.

Spencer releases in theatres on November 5th, 2021
