The Tennessee Vols' top remaining 2025 recruiting target will be taking a key visit this weekend.

2025 five-star offensive lineman David Sanders Jr is set to take an unofficial visit to Ohio State this weekend.

Sanders, 6-foot-6/270 lbs from Charlotte, NC, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 1 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 2 player in the 2025 recruiting class.

The elite offensive lineman is coming off an unofficial visit to Alabama last weekend. He's scheduled to take official visits to South Carolina, Clemson, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and Ohio State starting in late April.

For now, Clemson and Georgia are viewed as the favorites for Sanders. Clemson likely holds the edge since Sanders grew up a "diehard" Tigers fan.

Sanders is a player the Vols badly want to land. The next couple of months will be pivotal in determining the outcome of this already intense recruiting battle.

Ohio State is in the mix, but they aren't currently viewed as one of the top teams to beat for Sanders. But that could change with a great visit to Columbus this weekend.

The Buckeyes becoming a major factor for Sanders is the last thing the Vols want to see.
