The Green Bay Packers are getting a closer look at a versatile defensive back.

With them scheduling a top 30 visit with Florida State CB Jarrian Jones

Jones started his college career at Mississippi State in 2019 before transferring to Florida State for the next four seasons. He saved his best for last by setting new career highs in total tackles (25), tackles for loss (5), sacks (1.0), and interceptions (3) last year.

Jones is one of the most exciting slot CBs in this year's draft class. The Packers could certainly be in the market for an upgrade at this position. The best part about Jones as a prospect is his solid size, at 6'0" 190 lbs, which will allow him to compete for outside CB snaps as well as the slot.

He is projected to be drafted anywhere from late day two in the draft to early day three. This works out great for the Packers, who own four picks between rounds three and five in the 2024 NFL Draft. So, they are well-positioned to take a shot on Jones if they choose to do so.
