The Las Vegas Raiders had one of the most abnormal seasons of any NFL team this season.

From players getting into trouble with the law to coaching changes to quarterback changes to injuries, Las Vegas had plenty of issues that were not on the gridiron.

Even so, it was still a season with many highs and an abundance of promise for Raider Nation to look forward to.

Raiders Defensive Coordinator Patrick Graham looks back on this strange season with fondness and holds it high on his list of seasons coaching in the National Football League.

"I told the guys the other day -- and I'm not going to get emotional, I promise you that -- but I've had the most fun this year coaching this group of players than I have my whole career," Graham told reporters on Tuesday. "Plain and simple. Not taking anything away from the guys I've coached before, but their growth, how they've improved, how they embrace myself, the coaches, the turmoil that we faced, and how they laid out there on the line for us, starting with our leader, Maxx [Crosby].

"From him to the rookie that has the least amount of playing time. And I've had a lot of fun. I've had a lot of fun seeing them go out there, win games, lose games and try their best, and try to do what I'm asking them to do, learn from their mistakes.

"Again, it's just been a real fun year. I mean, I've been proud to be a part of the Raiders. That's been the cool thing just even when you think about the alumni and the people involved with this organization.

"It's been cool -- I would say 'dope' because I'm from the 90's. It's been real dope, it's been real dope, it's really been dope."

In regards to the head coach and coordinator positions, Graham was the only coach to keep his position all the way through this season.

The Silver and Black finish the 2023 NFL Regular season next weekend at home by hosting their AFC West rival, the Denver Broncos.
