It's no secret that the Tennessee Titans will have interest in adding to their offensive line in the 2024 NFL Draft. An often match with an offensive tackle prospect comes in round with them.

Notre Dame OT Joe Alt is widely expected to be the first OL off the board, and the Titans could grab him at 7th overall.

Former Super Bowl head coach Mike Martz has some concerns about Alt, though.

In a recent film breakdown video, Martz notes Alt's strengths and weaknesses. Check it out below.

One of his greatest concerns for Martz is Alt's bend at his knees. Martz does not think he is super flexible, and that can become a bigger issue at the pro level. He notes Alt's base as a key piece to his game that must improve because it can cause balance issues.

Martz also does not think that Alt is particularly powerful. Part of that comes from those aforementioned flexibility concerns. For a top ten pick, that scares Martz a bit.

The former HC uses the phrase "out over his feet" on many occasions when describing some of the sets from Alt. Off the snap, one half of his body moves noticeably quicker than the other half.

That being said, he does explain plenty of positive aspects for Alt, too.

He likes his motor and athleticism plenty. Martz thinks that Alt is a really impressive finisher and works hard consistently. His feet are another strength for Alt, according to the former NFL coach.

It's clear that Martz does not view Alt as quite the blue-chip player that some scouts do, but he still does think he can be a very good NFL offensive lineman.
