Talksport pundit Tony Cascarino has said that he thinks the situation regarding various factors at Tottenham may derail their top four hopes.

It may seem all rosy at Tottenham if you take a look at the Premier League table, with the club 4th in the standings. However, a little deeper, they have a lot of things going against them.

Antonio Conte is no longer the manager and the future of Harry Kane remains uncertain which has left Spurs fans panicking about what the next few months have in store.

On Talksport, Tony Cascarino admitted that he thinks these internal factors have the possibility to affect their top four hopes.

All the Tottenham fans are on Harry’s side here. They totally understand him as a player and why he’d want to leave the club.

If he does leave be it this summer or next, where are Spurs going to find somebody even close to a man like Kane? I can only see the club going backwards at the moment.

I don’t think they’re good enough to finish four and I think everything that’s happening at the moment will seriously affect them going toward the end of the season.”

With Conte no longer in charge, Cristian Stellini will be in the dugout for what could be the rest of the season with his first game in temporary charge coming on Monday evening against Everton.
