Tony Khan addressed AEW's recent talent cuts during today's ROH Supercard of Honor media call.

In regards to the releases, Khan said that he needs to keep an eye on the budget so he's able to continue signing top free agents. He noted that he is expanding the budget overall and plans to be aggressive in going after top talent.

Anthony Henry was one of the wrestlers released earlier this week. He has been out of action since suffering a broken jaw at a Deadlock Pro Wrestling event last month. Khan specifically addressed Henry's release and said that after thinking about it, Henry will return to the company once he's cleared.

Henry later confirmed the news on X.

Khan was also asked about Brandan and Brent Tate being released from the company. The Boys had been part of a long-running angle between Johnny TV and Dalton Castle leading to a match at Supercard of Honor. Khan said that the brothers did not show up for work on multiple occasions and he had to make "a tough call."

Supercard of Honor takes place Friday, April 5 at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It will air live on HonorClub.
