One of the best trends in college football are videos of walk-ons and transfers being given full ride scholarships by their coaches. Well this past Friday the University of South Florida Bulls awarded Allen University( HBCU) transfer, defensive tackle De’Juan Sease a full ride scholarship. Sease comes from the small town of Bamberg, South Carolina by way of Bamberg Earhardt High School. A school home to Clemson football legend Da’Quan Bowers.

Currently the Bulls are in fall camp preparing for the season. So this was a perfect chance by the coaches to set this up for Sease.

Sease was front and center of the meeting room, when told the news. And was met with a surprise with who announced it to him.

The junior defensive tackle was frozen with emotion in the video. He was met with hugs and cheers from his University of South Florida teammates.

As well as this being a heartfelt moment, this was smart move by the South Florida staff.  Sease gives them size in the trenches and more defensive tackle depth.

I absolutely love these videos, and they never get old to me. It shows people what handwork looks like, and what it looks like when others want to see you succeed. In addition, congrats to the young man and hopefully he uses this opportunity to the fullest.
