New York Giants star Blake Martinez is making moves on and off the field.

In the pilot episode of Whistle's "Price Went Up," Blake Martinez gives us the inside scoop into how he made $2.3 million buying and selling Pokemon cards. Hosted by Entrepreneur Christian Crosby, "Price Went Up" highlights the incredible ways in which athletes and entertainers are embracing the growing alternative investment space. You won't want to miss this!

After tearing his ACL last season, Martinez had a lot of time on his hands. While rehabbing, he wanted to find a hobby to stay busy. Inspired by boxer and influencer Logan Paul, he got to work on turning his lifelong passion for Pokemon into an investment opportunity by aggressively buying and selling cards. He also partnered with live auction platform Whatnot where he hosts his Pokemon box breaks. Martinez understands that football won't last forever and that finding multiple streams of income is key to success.

On the field, the do-it-all linebacker is a tackling machine. He has had 100 tackles or more in four of his six seasons. He was the NFL co-leader in tackles in 2017 with 144.
