The LA Clippers faced off with the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night, picking up a bounce-back victory after their loss to the OKC Thunder on Friday. While it wasn't a great showing for the Clippers, they did just enough down the stretch to pull out a much needed victory.

Prior to the game, Russell Westbrook and Derrick Rose shared a special moment together, catching up during layup lines:

The KTLA broadcast showed a more extended cut of this conversation prior to the game, as two former league MVPs took time to catch up with one another. Westbrook and Rose go way back as competitors, having faced off in the 2008 Final Four when Rose's Memphis Tigers took down Westbrook's UCLA Bruins.

Rose was the NBA MVP in 2011, and Westbrook was the NBA MVP in 2017. Widely considered the two most explosive point guards in NBA history, Westbrook and Rose were some of the most exciting players in the league at their respective peaks.

It was cool to see these two players share a moment together, as they both still have a lot of fans who support them and their respective teams. While the Grizzlies are well out of the playoff race, Westbrook and the Clippers hope to win a championship this season.
