The Chicago Bears are about to change their franchise forever by drafting Caleb Williams. The USC product will become the face of the Bears and GM Ryan Poles is building the offense around him. But he needs players to grow with not just the veteran leaders already on Chicago's roster. If Washington wide receiver, Rome Odunze, is still available at No. 9, the Bears could create the most dangerous offense in the NFL by selecting him.
Rome Odunze On The Bears' Offense
Rome Odunze was present for a workout with Caleb Williams, DJ Moore, and Keenan Allen in Los Angeles last week, which sparked speculation. Williams and Odunze had fun bantering back and forth on X while en route to Detroit for the 2024 NFL Draft which caused even more speculation.
Regardless of speculation, there is a real possibility Odunze is still available for the Bears in the top-10 selections. According to Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times, Odunze believes the Chicago Bears' offense would be explosive with him on the field alongside Keenan Allen and DJ Moore.
The Washington wide receiver would make the Bears' offense incredibly dynamic. Learning from the likes of Allen and Moore, Odunze could become a Pro Bowl-caliber receiver. Odunze said he would love to learn from the future hall of famer Keenan Allen and that trio could be the most dangerous in the entire NFL.
With an improved offensive line, a young quarterback projected to be a once-in-a-lifetime talent, and three top-20 wide receivers in the league, the Chicago Bears might be the surprise of the decade en route to winning multiple championships.
