On Sunday night, the Indiana Pacers took a commanding 3-1 lead on the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference semifinals with a 129-109 victory.
Donovan Mitchell's injury was the biggest story of the game, which was out of hand by halftime. The Cavs trailed 80-39 after two quarters.
Local WNBA icon Caitlin Clark was at the game, taking the Pacers' record to 6-0 in the NBA playoffs when the Indiana Fever star is in attendance.
Afterward, Clark could not stop talking about the big win. She took her thoughts to a local sports radio postgame show on 107.5 The Fan — under a fake name that did not take fans long to decipher.
Fresh off a 3-0 preseason with the Fever, the 23-year-old guard called into Eddie White's "Pacers Overtime" postgame show. She was introduced as "Caitlin From Downtown," but the host later confirmed it was the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year on the line.
"It was just one of those nights where you literally could not miss," Clark said. "It was really, really fun to watch. I felt honestly bad for the Cavs at one point, but, man, that was some good basketball."

An appropriate nod to her long-range shooting ability, Clark's new nickname stuck as the interview circulated on social media Sunday night.
"A #Pacers fan named "Caitlin from Downtown Indy" just called into the Overtime Postgame Show," an X user wrote. "#OneOfUs."
"fabulous radio guests to start the show," said another. "Caitlin from downtown... epic postgame radio bravo."
No surprise “Caitlin from downtown” would call into the world’s greatest postgame show

"Caitlin from downtown? You Bet!!" a fan replied, referencing ESPN play-by-play announcer Ryan Ruocco and his famous call of Clark's logo three-pointer against the Brazil national team at Iowa during preseason.
Another user turned the nickname into a hashtag: "#CaitlinFromDowntown."

The Iowa native has not taken long to capture the hearts of her new fan base two states over in Indianapolis. Whether it is her attending games or talking about them afterward, her love for basketball is contagious in the Hoosier State.
