Kylie Kelce has made it very clear that Sports Illustrated Swimsuit modeling is not part of her future plans.
Jason Kelce’s wife praised the women who appear in the magazine, but she shut down the idea of joining them herself with a blunt and funny answer.
Her message was not about criticizing the platform. It was about knowing exactly where she feels comfortable and where she does not.
Speaking on the Not Gonna Lie podcast, Kylie Kelce answered whether she would ever become a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model.
“Guys, how do I say it nicely? No, thank you. Absolutely not. Yeah, I would, Queen Emma tried to ask if it was the top 10 place I had no business being in. I would almost say it’s top three,” Kelce said.
She added, “And I think it goes without saying that if I don’t like having my photo taken clothed. I’m probably not going to like my photo taken naked.”
The answer sounded exactly like the kind of direct response that has made Kylie popular with NFL fans beyond her connection to Jason Kelce.
She did not leave much room for interpretation, making it clear that even a high-profile SI Swimsuit invitation would not change how she feels about being photographed that way.
Kylie’s refusal came with respect for the women who do feel comfortable taking part, which made her answer more personal than dismissive.
“And just to make sure you heard me, I do not want to be in my bathing suit on SI Swimsuit Edition. [But I’m] a big fan of the magazine. Love it for other women,” she continued,
“You guys are f______ crushing it. You guys look hot and powerful and strong, and I’m good. Don’t call us. Don’t email us. Don’t inquire. Don’t waste your time,” Kelce concluded.
That balance was the whole point of her response. Kylie applauded the confidence and strength of the women who appear in the issue, while still drawing a firm boundary for herself.
Her public profile has grown through her podcast presence, family life with Jason, and her willingness to speak plainly, but that does not mean she wants every kind of spotlight.
For Kylie, the SI Swimsuit answer is simple. She can admire the women who do it, support the magazine from a distance and still want absolutely no part of posing for it herself.
