The LSU Tigers are predicted to land five-star interior offensive lineman, Darius Gray, per On3's Steve Wiltfong.
Gray ranks as the No. 32 overall recruit, No. 2 player in the state of Virginia and the No. 1 interior offensive lineman in the class. This would be an absolutely massive pickup for the Tigers, who have just two OL in their 2026 class thus far.
Gray hails from St. Christopher High School in Richmond, Virginia and is the 32nd, and final, five-star in the 2026 class according to On3's industry rankings.
LSU's 2026 class is coming along quite nicely. They already have a pair of five-star commits in wide receiver Tristen Keys and defensive tackle Richard Anderson, and if they can add a third, they'll have the most in the country. Right now, they're tied with The USC Trojans, Oregon Ducks and Ohio State Buckeyes with two apiece.
The addition of Gray would also likely vault the Tigers to the top of the pecking order. They currently have the No. 2 class in 2026, trailing only Lincoln Riley's USC Trojans, but are just .303 away from nabbing that top spot. Adding a third five-star recruit should be enough to do the trick.
Gray would instantly be the best offensive lineman the Tigers have in their 2026 class. Currently, their highest rated OL recruit is Brysten Martinez, who ranks 155th in the class. The only other OL commit they've received thus far is Jalan Chapman, a three-star from New Orleans who's unranked.
Gray is set to make a slew of visits to LSU, Virginia Tech, Clemson, Tennessee and South Carolina this spring/summer. He's already visited LSU twice, and is set to make a return trip on June 14th.
We'll see if the Tigers have made enough of an impression to nab the five-star from Virginia. If they can, it will be a massive addition to their 2026 class.
