Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Danilo Pereira played in all 90 minutes of the capital club’s 2-1 victory against FC Metz. The French giants once again needed a late strike to come away with the victory.

Pereira had 111 touches providing one key pass and winning four of ten duels in the process. Following the win, the 30-year-old spoke to Canal Plus over his thoughts regarding the match.

“It’s a weird and very difficult end to the game. We scored again in the last minutes. It was a very difficult game with a team that played in front of their goal. It’s like that every day against us,” Pereira said.

“But we won, and that’s very important to us. The first 20 minutes, we had a good game with a lot of intensity. Then we played a bit slowly, and it’s difficult when you play like that.”

This weekend, PSG faces Montpellier Hérault SC ahead of their UEFA Champions League tilt against Manchester City.
