Wisconsin football has lost another commitment in the 2025 class just a day ahead of the early signing period.
Cam Miller, a three-star wide receiver, announced on Tuesday that he will de-commit from Wisconsin.
"I would like to thank Coach Fickell, Coach Guiton, and Coach Longo for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to play at the next level," Miller said on social media.
"After talking with my family, I've decided to de-commit from the University of Wisconsin"
The Winslow Township High School standout had been committed to UW since May. The news comes a day after in-state specialist Erik Schmidt announced he had flipped his commitment to Notre Dame.
Miller is rated as the No. 488 player in the country, the No. 74 WR, and the No. 12 player in Kentucky, per the composite rankings.
The New Jersey native initially chose Wisconsin over offers from Kentucky, Ohio State, Georgia, Penn State, Michigan, Oregon, Rutgers, Maryland, Illinois, and several others.
Miller was set to be part of a two-man wide receiver class alongside Eugene Hilton Jr. Now, UW is expected to have just one receiver sign tomorrow.
Shortly after his de-commitment, recruiting experts logged multiple predictions that Miller would end up at Kentucky, which was a serious contender up until his initial commitment to UW.
With Miller out of the picture, Wisconsin now holds 24 commitments in the 2025 cycle and is still on pace to land a top-25 recruiting class.
