Doctor provides expected recovery timeline for Tiger Woods
Golf star Tiger Woods underwent surgery on his legs this week after a rollover car crash in California left him with serious injuries on Tuesday. On Saturday, we received a little more information about how long it could take him to recover.
According to a doctor and injury analyst for Fox Sports, Woods is expected to be rehabilitating for eight-to-12 months. He could be back sooner if he doesn't need additional surgery.
Woods had a rod, pins and screws inserted into his leg at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center before being transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for ongoing orthopedic rehabilitation.
The 45-year-old is "in good spirits," according to a statement released by his official Twitter account on Friday. It's unclear if he'll return to golf.
