LIV Golf is returning to Trump National Doral Miami in April, former President Donald Trump announced Friday.

The Saudi-funded league announced a global, 12-event regular season for its 2024 season last month, but two events, including one in the U.S., did not have a host venue lined up when the schedule was released.

The initial schedule was devoid of any Trump properties after LIV Golf played three tournaments at his courses in 2023.

"TRUMP NATIONAL DORAL, in Miami, has just signed with LIV GOLF to host a Championship Tournament in April, 2024. The event they had at Doral in October was a major success!" Trump posted Friday on his social media site Truth Social.

The tournament is slated for April 5-7, the week before the Masters.

LIV Golf CEO and commissioner Greg Norman has said the league is continuing on regardless of the outcome of talks between the PGA Tour and Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, the backers of LIV. A framework agreement revealed in June had said the fate of LIV would fall to a board with a PGA Tour-controlled majority.
