How the odds for the Masters have changed following the WM Phoenix Open

The WM Phoenix Open did not disappoint last weekend. And the impact of the wild weekend on the links has transferred over to the oddsmakers, where the odds for everyone's favorite springtime major have shifted.

That's right, the odds for who will win the Masters have shaken up, and World No. 3 Jon Rahm is now the favorite to rock the green jacket in April.

The Spaniard placed third at the WM Phoenix Open and is currently listed at +650 odds at DraftKings to win the Masters, knocking Rory McIlroy down to the second favorite listed at +800.

Multiple sportsbooks had the two golfers listed at identical odds prior to last weekend's event in Scottsdale.

McIlroy was also knocked out of the No. 1 spot in the official world golf ranking after he finished the WM Phoenix Open tied for 32nd.

Competitor and good friend Scottie Scheffler reclaimed the No. 1 spot in the world after successfully defending his title at the Phoenix Open on Sunday.

However, Scheffler is still listed at +1200 in the Masters odds, according to DK. Also listed at +1200 are PGA Tour competitor Justin Thomas and LIV Golf defectee Cam Smith, who is still the favorite in the current Masters odds among the golfers who joined Greg Norman's breakaway league last year.

The Masters tees off on April 6.
