Los Angeles Golf Club announced Monday that Justin Rose is the latest addition to the team. The 11-time PGA Tour winner is set to join forces with two-time major champion Collin Morikawa, California native Sahith Theegala, and another yet-to-be-named teammate during TGL's inaugural season.
"I am excited to become a part of Los Angeles Golf Club. From the very beginning, I was drawn to the Club's commitment to their fans and their impact focus in the Los Angeles community. We are mission and vision-aligned and I'm thrilled to be joining LAGC," said Rose in a statement.
Rose has had a prolific career since turning pro in 1998, winning 25 times worldwide and achieving many of golf's greatest feats. The 43-year-old Englishman reached No. 1 in the Official World Golf Rankings during the 2019 season and held that spot for 13 weeks. Rose also won the 2013 U.S. Open at Merion Golf Club and became the first golfer to ever win a gold medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil.

Los Angeles Golf Club is the inaugural team of TGL, the new tech-infused golf simulator league spearheaded and developed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy in partnership with the PGA Tour. LAGC's ownership includes Seven Seven Six founder Alexis Ohanian, tennis stars Serena and Venus Williams, the NBA's Antetokounmpo brothers, Alex Morgan, Servando Carrasco, and Michelle Wie West.
While TGL was forced to postpone its inaugural season after severe damages to the Sofi Center in November, recent roster constructions like this suggest plans are still in action to debut in early 2025.
“The postponement brings mixed feelings of disappointment and excitement," McIlroy said in November. "Above all, we are happy that no one was injured. We are looking forward to the launch of TGL. Given the circumstances, while the delay is disappointing, the postponement will allow us to regroup, refocus and return stronger.”
